Superior fiduciary protection, advice, & customer service for your retirement plan
For companies and organization of all sizes, our primary goal is to help maximize the retirement benefits to owners, executives, and their employees.
DEFINED CONTRIBUTION PLAN DESIGN & CONSULTING
ACM advises corporate and business clients, both large and small, on defined contribution plan design with regard to 401(k), 403(b), and profit sharing plans. In doing so, we seek to align plan provisions with plan sponsor objectives and employee demographics, while streamlining administrative processes and maximizing cost efficiencies.
CASH BALANCE PLAN CONSULTING & MANAGEMENT
ACM counsels business owners on the benefits, suitability, and implementation of defined benefit cash balance plans. In establishing new plans or modifying existing ones, we partner with the nation’s leading cash balance providers, administrators, and actuaries. ACM provides cash balance plan sponsors with superior support and customer service, while managing cash balance plan investments to optimal return targets and with appropriate levels of risk.
ACM serves as a full discretion fiduciary under ERISA 3(38) to retirement plan clients, taking on full responsibility for the selection and monitoring of plan investments. This level of governance is often selected by plan sponsors who desire the maximum level of fiduciary protection. In fulfilling this responsibility, ACM conducts regular Plan Reviews, which may include updated evaluations of plan documents and disclosures, benchmarking studies, comprehensive fee analyses, and modifications to plan investment options.
ACM works closely with plan sponsors to create or modify a formal Investment Policy Statement that outlines the parameters and specific steps for the evaluation, selection, and monitoring of plan investment options. We also advise clients on the appropriate selection of a Qualified Default Investment Alternative (QDIA).
ACM conducts enrollment and investment education meetings for plan participants and eligible employees. Our goal is to inform employees of the long-term benefits of participating in a retirement plan, while providing them with the knowledge and confidence to make informed investment decisions on their own behalf.
PROVIDER MANAGEMENT SERVICES
ACM provides retirement plan sponsors with additional support services. We evaluate and recommend record-keeping providers and provide administrative assistance for record-keeper conversions. ACM also monitors the execution of services included in provider agreements and resolves provider-related service issues.
